Dr. Rui Zhang is the founding partner of Perico Legal, which he established in the United States in 2016. The firm focuses on U.S. immigration, intellectual property, trusts, and business investment and development. Over the years, Dr. Zhang has also co-founded multiple affiliated business entities that extend the firm’s core services, covering sectors such as investment, real estate, agriculture, and international trade. Dr. Zhang holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.) from St. John’s University and a Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) from Westcliff University. He has an in-depth understanding of the U.S. immigration legal system and is well-versed in immigration, business, and contract law. With particular expertise in employment-based, talent-based, and investment-based immigration strategies, Dr. Zhang has successfully designed customized immigration solutions for thousands of families and individuals over the past decade, helping them settle, grow, and thrive in the United States.
Dr. Shiyu Zhao is the co-founding partner of Perico Legal. She holds a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from St. John’s University, as well as bachelor’s and master’s degrees in law from Zhejiang Gongshang University. Dr. Zhao is well-versed in U.S. immigration and business law. She currently serves as legal counsel for SANFIERRO Investment Group in the United States and as Legal Director at Shanghai Vysser Intellectual Property Agency. She is also a member of the New York International Law Committee. Dr. Zhao previously worked as a legal advisor at the Office of the County Attorney in Nassau County, Long Island, New York, gaining extensive hands-on legal experience. Since the founding of Perico Legal, she has provided customized immigration solutions for over a thousand applicants, helping individuals and families successfully immigrate to the United States and begin new chapters in their lives, earning high praise and trust from clients.
